Dermatoses – Caused by bacteria

DermatosesDermatoses is the term which describes a skin disease like a skin defect or a lesion on the skin. Dermatoses develops when bacterium will compromise the skin. There are many dermatoses problems such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and allergic contact dermatitis.

The bacteria which cause dermatoses is known as Streptococcus pyogenes or Staphylococcus aureus. Dermatoses can affect every human body and dermatoses attacks the entire body, rather than a single part of it. So the main types of dermatoses which are most known are: Atopic Dermatitis, Allergic Contact Dermatitis and Psoriasis.

Dermatoses – Common types

Psoriasis is a life-long skin disease, which is common in people older than 55. Psoriasis is part of the dermatoses and it develops as a response triggered by T-lymphocytes in the skin. There are many types of psoriasis and every type of psoriasis has a different effect. For example, Plaque psoriasis usually affects young adults and is spread on the knees, elbows, and back. Some think that Plaque psoriasis is one of the most dangerous dermatoses of the human body. The Plaque psoriasis covers an area from 1 to 10 cm in diameter. The Guttate psoriasis is most common in children and young adults, and it covers the trunk of the body.

Inverse psoriasis is usually present without affecting the genital, intergluteal, inguinal, perineal, inframammary, axillary and scaling regions. Nail psoriasis is characteristic for abnormal tan-brown nail, thick crumbling nails and nail plate growth. Another of the dermatoses is Pustular psoriasis. Pustular psoriasis is the most common form of dermatoses and it is characterized by scaling and sheets of pustules. Sometimes Pustular psoriasis can be dangerous for people’s health and can be associated with leukocytosis, malaise, hypocalcemia and diarrhea.

Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is other dermatoses which is an allergic, chronic inflammatory skin disease. Most people with allergic rhinitis and asthma suffer from Atopic Dermatitis (AD). You could see the symptoms on your neck, wrists, face, and forearms. The Atopic Dermatitis (AD) is one of the most important in the group of dermatoses because it is common and it is caused by bacteria.

Allergic Contact Dermatitis is the last one of the group of most common dermatoses. Allergic contact dermatitis is a skin reaction which is presented by pruritic, erythematous rash. In this group the most common allergen causing this reaction is urushiol. If you suffer of these dermatoses like Allergic Contact Dermatitis, it will last usually from 2 to 4 weeks. It can be treated with topical corticosteroids. Another treatment of the Allergic Contact Dermatitis uses aluminum on the dry and infected skin, and also in the same time you could use the topical steroids.
